Small Self Administered Schemes (SASS)
These pension fund schemes are available to companies and their employees but not to sole traders or partnerships. They are generally set up for the benefit of shareholding directors and therefore are particularly attractive to owner-managed businesses.
Apart from the obvious function of providing income in retirement separate from the fortunes of the business, a SSAS is a highly tax-efficient business planning tool, enabling the directors to borrow money from the scheme and also ‘gear-up' with bank borrowing for say commercial property purchase within the fund.
MI Wealth Management provides the necessary expertise to implement and manage SSAS schemes on behalf of their clients.
